Christmas with our little Lora❄️๐๐ถ
๐This year, our little girl has fully embraced the holiday spirit—and she’s determined to personally redecorate the entire house. Her favorite Christmas activity? Rearranging ornaments on the tree. She’s convinced that all the sparkly ones belong at the very bottom, perfectly reachable for her tiny hands (and dangerously accessible for the cat).
Yesterday, she declared herself “Santa’s Helper,” complete with a red Santa hat three sizes too big, which kept slipping over her eyes as she marched around delivering gifts. One “gift” was my slipper wrapped in Christmas paper. Another was a half-eaten cookie lovingly presented to Daddy.
๐She’s obsessed with Christmas songs but only knows every third word. So our living room echoes with her passionate rendition of “Jingle bells, jingle…something… HEY!” at top volume.
And let’s talk about Christmas cookies. Our budding chef insists on helping decorate them. By “decorate,” I mean applying an inch-thick layer of rainbow sprinkles and taste-testing at least two cookies per batch.
Despite the chaos (and the mountain of glitter in our carpet), seeing Christmas through her eyes is pure magic. Every twinkling light is a miracle. Every wrapped gift is a treasure. And every cookie… well, that’s just delicious.
๐Here’s to Christmas with toddlers—messy, hilarious, and absolutely unforgettable!
